Trailhacker and I spent the weekend near Mt. Pinos. We camped at Able and did a day hike to Mt. Pinos. I was surprised that Mt. Pinos is almost 9000ft high. It's gorgeous out there and I hope to get back to the area again and do some backpacking. As it was, we car-camped with old hiking friends and had a great time.
