More Trail Runner Questions
I've been going to UCSB for almost three years now and finally found a site where I can look for trails around here. I usually just get in my car and spontaneously drive somewhere that looks like a running trail. My question is, though this is primarily a hiking website, are most of the "hiking" trails listed runable? And if so, where should I look first? Thanks for your help, this is an awesome and helpful site!

But I do see runners on most of the front country trails. The ones I see them on most of all are San Antonio Creek (that one is pretty flat and short), Tunnel (paved for first mile), Cold Springs, Romero, Jesusita (look for Arroyo Burro and follow it to Inspiration point), San Ysidro, and Rattlesnake (no bikes there).
Happy running!
