These are stories and pictures from my 1999 trip to Nepal. I went to the Khumbu region, which is in the Eastern part of Nepal in the watershed of Everest. It is the part of Nepal featured in many mountaineering books about Everest expedictions. The people there are mainly Buddhist. In Kathmandu they are mainly Hindu and Buddhist.
