Sierra Club Hikes

Sierra Club hikes are a great way to get to know the local trails if you don't want to bother with trying to find these hikes on your own.

In Santa Barbara, these outings are very casual. Politics are not usually discussed, and you are not required to be a member of the Sierra Club to hike with the group.

Saturday and Sunday

Hikes vary each week. Check the list. They usually meet at 9:00AM at the Bank of America, Hope and State St.

Wednesday Night

Meet at 6:30 at the Santa Barbara Mission, Laguna and Los Olivos St.

Friday Night

Moderate social hike. Meet at 6:15 pm at the Santa Barbara Mission, Laguna and Los Olivos St.

The Sierra Club requires the following information to be announced:

"All participants on Sierra Club outings are required to sign a standard liability waiver. If you would like to read the liability waiver before you choose to participate on an outing, refer to the public website at: (the individual waiver - a .pdf document) or contact the Outings department at (415) 977-5630 for a printed version."
